Success of All Students
Educators value the success of all students, not just academically but emotionally as well. During my practicums, I was given the chance to practice this standard and from day to day, it was pleasant and fun. However, sometimes acting in the student’s best interest was not always easy. Lice was a big problem and writing an email to send home to the guardians about keeping their children clean and healthy felt awkward but it needed to be done as some of the poor students were scratching so much and I could see the bugs crawling in their hair.
