Educators act ethically and maintain the integrity, credibility and reputation of the profession.
Inside and outside the classroom walls teachers are expected to act as leaders and role models, not just to students but to their parents and families. Anyone who chooses to enter this profession has already proven themselves to be thoughtful, caring, and mindful of how we as teachers can influence the lives around us and we want to be a positive presence in their lives. I believe I demonstrated this standard in all of my practicums, whenever I see a student outside of school I am aware of how I carry myself, the language I use, how I dress, and the setting I am in.
