Pro-D, Curling
During our practicums, I attended professional development days with our school district. My favourite Pro-D that I attended was going curling, although I didn’t know it at the time I had a torn PCL and LCL in my right knee. A little pain didn’t stop me and the coaches that the district had lined up were amazing at demonstrating alternative movements that I could do. Curling would be a great sport to introduce to students, and the curling club in Terrace is able to accommodate a full class, and we are lucky to have a rink in our town.
